KaP, a golden Pavillon in dreaming Flanders, BE

A “golden pavilion” made of repeating slats in golden copper. The intention was a space that would be truly luminescent – giving off different hues and tones, depending on the time of day, the season and, possibly, the inhabitant’s mood. Light, relaxation and beauty – body and mind essentials.

After a successful collaboration on the remodeling of their seashore house, the client asked us to do a mini- extension. Located on the ground floor, and planned for yoga and massage, they wanted to expand their place without modifying it. The particularity of this extension was a total break from the existing house - intended as an out-of-the-ordinary environment that perhaps will form part of our client’s future..
